RotorX develops autonomous aircrafts that can lift 100-150lbs of cargo and carry it up to 60 miles. RotorX aims to solve logistics issues in the military sector as well as the electric utility industry. We’ve raised over $300k in funding to develop our heavy lift drone, Palledrone, and have demonstrated its functionality to the U.S Army. Palledrone will demonstrate its capabilities to the U.S. Army again in February of 2022.
Our team consists of three Aerospace Engineering PhDs from the Georgia Institute of Technology. We are all graduates of Georgia Tech’s Unmanned Aerial Vehicles Research Facility and have consulted for large aerospace companies on the west coast. Collectively, we have over 30 years of experience in designing, fabricating and test flying autonomous aircrafts.
