QuirkChat is a video social network for anime and geek fandom commentary. Our mission is to be the industry home of geek fandom conversation and data while also adding social responsibility to social network by focusing on community self moderation tools. Our business model is B2B “greenlight data” for the film and media industry and creator tools.
Since relaunching our app with our main feature (Quips) in April 2021, we’ve grown to an additional 8K+ app downloads. We are advised by former Twitch and Facebook execs and are backed by Techstars and Snapchat.
We have a full team across product and operations. Our CEO (Bee Law) is currently head of product and works with our tech lead Dipal to manage our offshore engineering team (2 android, 2 iOS, 1 web developer, QA) and Candice Johnson is our head of operations and is in charge of financials and HR.
