Black Ambition is reducing barriers to capital and bridging the wealth gap through entrepreneurship. The Black Ambition Prize competition is a set of two prizes, The General Prize track and HBCU Prize track, designed to fund bold ideas led by Black and Hispanic entrepreneurs. This year’s cohort of 249 semifinalists are half way through their 3-month Mentor program, an initiative that provides founders with peer-to-peer learning, curated training opportunities, and networking opportunities. Today, we are excited to announce the top 50 finalists across both the General and HBCU Prize tracks.
The top 50 finalists will receive additional support that will fuel their businesses forward as they enter the final stages of the Black Ambition Prize competition. Each finalist will receive access to their own pitch coach for online and in person pitch coaching. Additionally, finalists receive access to graphic designers who will assist in updating their pitch decks and other marketing collateral for use beyond the Black Ambition Prize competition to matriculate into other accelerator programs and venture funds.

Black Ambition empowers Black and Hispanic innovators and communities to excel, uninterrupted. Founded by Pharrell Williams in 2020, Black Ambition provides founders scaling ventures in consumer products and services, media and entertainment, healthcare, technology and Web 3.0 with access to capital and a variety of supportive resources.
